I kind of figured that anyways. The score is about what I thought it would be with our new Defensive coaches and players.

Preseason man, happy to just see some of our starters out there. Wink

Again, he isn't ever going to be an Antonio Gates or (again), even a Gesicki type, but every team has a blocking TE that does the dirty work like him, it's just a fact. He's ours, he's more than satisfactory for our team, deal with it.

Well said. I also agree with Sled's Peko analogy...although I feel Peko was a better player than Sample.

Either way, I'm pumped about Fant and hopefully Zac can find ways to creatively make use of all 3 TE's.

Also, good to see ya, Truck. ThumbsUp

Watched the entire game, it wasn't as bad as people made out if you can believe it. Sure, there wasn't a ton of push rushing the passer and
DJ Ivey was downright terrible in this game, but overall the tackling was better than what I saw last season. It will get better, McKinnley had a
very good game with 2 TFL's in the run game and getting good push. Shaka Heyward was more than solid once again.

A couple sacks for Taven Bryan and Barrett Carter, Shemar pushed his man right into the QB for Bryan. Too bad Giles Harris got touched by the
TE, nice run back by him on the interception. That McKee looked really good and both our backup QB's looked terrible to me besides a couple
nice passes by Ridder late.
