Coach Taylor says Preseason Game plan.
#1
The Washington game he plans to stretch out the starters and game reps to prepare for regular season.

So you won't see many starters in there against Eagles Thursday or the other one.  Coach Taylor will get starters a warm up against Washington preseason game. That was in Cincinnati Enquirer as source.

That's OK, normally over the decades the starters only needed the one preseason game.  The other preseason games are to take a look at players trying to make the team. It also gives some playing time to bench warmers.  It is nice to see if anybody is Blocking and Tackling out there in Preseason, such as Munoz first preseason game where he blocked a player off the field and almost into the stands. Trumpy as announcer said rookie Munoz just invited the player into the stands for a Coke.  The draft picks will get reps and have something to prove against Eagles.

He said Joe and the offense will play Thursday for at least 2 series maybe 3...so basically the 1st QTR

Wow, surprised by this. Sounds like they are serious about starting off much faster this year. Happy about it.

Had to change stuff up and get the new players and coaches on the same page along with the starters.

What are the Eagles doing BTW?

The Lions didn't start any of their starters against the Chargers and got their butts kicked. I know these are meaningless games as far as
the scores go, but you also don't want to look really bad. Need to show some good things.
