Signing Perine at RB and signing Oren Burks at LB! Their 2 vets that will solidify their respective positions and both have playoff experience.

Resigning BJ Hill- I like Hill as a player but you need an elite 3T to win a championship and Hill isn't it.  The last 6 championship teams have had a DT with at least 50 pressures in a season( according to PFF). BJ highest pressure season was 42(PFF)!

Most intriguing training camp battle?
I'm going to go with whomever has to compete with DAX Hill for a starting position in the secondary.

Bengals rookie of year?
Demetrius Knight LB-

Surprise Cut prediction?
DE Myles Murphy and Jordan Battle- with the drafting of Stewart I think that makes Myles expendable. I think Dax will be starting at SS this season which will make it tough for Battle to keep his job because of lack of Coverage skills and versatility.

Most intriguing player to watch?
McKinley Jackson- the last 4 games of last season Jackson was 2nd amongst DTs in run defense(PFF) with an 85 grade!

Trade/ Free agent move you would like to see before final cuts?
G Cole Strange Patriots and Adetomiwa Adebawore DTColts- Highly athletic guys who could thrive in a different environment.

Non Bengal you would want on the team?
DT Osa Odighizuwa Cowboys- He was my favorite player in the 2021 draft and was one of three DT last season with at least 60 pressures according to PFF last season. The Bengals DTs had 60 all together which was 31st in the league( according to PFF!

2026 NFL draft prospect you would like on the team?
Dillon Theineman FS Oregon Jessie Bates Clone who would bring smarts, athleticism, and Ball Hawkness skill!

Best move: Re-signing Higgins. 

Worst move: Not doing more to improve the IOL (though lack of DT pass rush  the Trey situation, and the Stewart pick are close). 

Most intruiging camp battle: CB3/CB. CTB, Hill, Turner, Fig. Who plays where and who isn't a starter. I *think* it will be Fig, but not sure. 

Bengals ROY? Knight. 

Surprise Cut. Mike Lee. I don't think he'll be cut, but I don't really have one. Charlie Jones? Cam Sample? Cedric Johnson? I think all those guys make it. Moss? Not a surprise. 

Most intruiging? Stewart. Raw with a super high ceiling. If he's a stud opposite Trey, our whole team dynamic shifts. Burton 2nd. 1st round talent and train wreck maturity. Though I think Fairchild, Yoshi, Dax Hill, Turner, and Stone are also interesting. 

Move before cuts? Will Hernandez, G, Cardinals, FA. Another G (Scherff, Risner). Fant would be nice, as well. But contrary to public opinion, we don't actually have that much space (Hendrickson raise, PS, Stewart in fold = $18 mil or more). 

2026? Clueless. Have to see how 2025 goes. IOL, pass rushing DT, S, TE1, CB1 are our biggest needs. 

Non Bengsl I'd want: Dexter Lawrence, DT, NYG. Or an all-pro OG (Dickerson, Thuney, etc.)

Positive prediction: The D will be significantly better. More aggressive. Better tackling. 

Negative prediction: But the lack of interior pass rush on D and a weak run blocking line and IOL make us one dimensional & predictable again on O. 9-7ish plus an early PO exit, if we make it.

I took some time and crunched the numbers a few different ways...but none of them showed the Browns QB winning Bengals rookie of the year. 

EDIT: Re-crunched. You could be right. If he throws 6 ints against the Bengals and 2 of them are for TDs, he could actually win it.
