Trey Hendrickson Update

I mean if I had a friend that would do that, that's an awesome friend.

If I had access to that bourbon like that distributor friend does, I dunno if I would share it with my friends that often since I could probably sell it for four figures every year on the secondary market lol.
I like my friends, but I dunno if I like them THAT much :)
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Would anyone do this trade

Micha Parsons and a second for Trey Hendrickson & a first?

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

What would be the reasoning for the trade?
Hendrickson and Parsons are both under contract for this year only.
Parsons is 26, Hendrickson turns 30 this year.
Both will likely command $35+ mill APY on the FA market, Parsons for likely 1-2 more years than Hendrickson due to age.

I don't really see incentive for Cowboys to make the move, and Bengals won't likely pay Parsons that amount if they aren't willing to pay Hendrickson, who is already a known commodity within the organization.

In a heartbeat because I don't see Trey putting up 17.5 sacks again and, while he may still put up double digit sacks, we have offered him more than enough money for his age.

I trust Golden and Montgomery's abilities to get a good pass rush with our tackles getting a decent pass rush and let guys like Ossai and Murphy eat from the end spots!

If we can get Stewart signed, it would hurt Hendrickson even more because our tackles getting a pass rush will leave the ends single blocked and Stewart will murder tackles with his bullrush or twists!

I think you're relying on too many "ifs" and "hope".

I would not. I believe Trey wants to retire a Bengal and in my opinion he has earned the right. I hope we focus on working on a deal both sides can agree to and then prepare for him and the team to wreak havoc in 2025 and beyond.

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!
