Seth McLaughlin C Ohio State

WTS, he is 32 years old, and 2026 looks to be a great class for Centers. Of course, I'd love to catch lightning in one of these lesser prospects, but I don't see it.

I've pointed out numerous times, only to be told Burrow doesn't need help by posters here, that Burrow himself has said when he gets to the line he asks Ted what he sees with the defense. The cerebral part of the NFL game is a big part of Karras' value over Lee or Seth

I don't think the team will do that if Seth is healthy.  They may place. Mike Lee on the practice squad.

For sure, but Ted is getting up there. Have to prepare for when he may become a liability. Hasn't been yet though that is for sure and a Center
that can read Defense's is extremely underrated.

I believe it was the coaches and Karras/Cappa.

I think counting on a guy to replace Karras who has never played an NFL game at C (Lee or McLaughlin) is something I eould not do.

But with this FO? Who knows?

Patrick has played C badly before. He is the de facto #3 C. I do not think we'll carry 4 guys with C chops. Karras & Patrick are locks. As are OBJ, Mims, Fairchild, Rivers, and Ford.

Only room for one of Lee & McLaughlin in my book.

Though if Volson goes, or we carry 10 OL, there could be another spot.

McLaughlin is C only. Lee did play some T last year in limited snaps. If he is preferred to Kirkland, Stueber, Cochran, and the rest, and can play another spot, he has a shot.

1. OBJ, LT, starter
2. Mims, RT, starter
3. Karras, C, starter (also can play G)
-----------
4. Patrick, OG/C, starter/reserve
5. Ford, OT/OG, OT3 + G reserve/starter
6. Fairchild, LG, starter/reserve
------------
7. Rivers, OG/OT, reserve
-----------
8. Volson, LG, starter/reserve
-------------
9. Lee, C/T/G, reserve
10. McLaughlin, C, reserve
