I'm telling everyone, Fairchild is the truth, if he stays healthy, that left side will be an impenetrable wall.

I'm impressed by how he carries himself during interviews so I'm rooting for him.

It is still early. I bet we have both Trey and Shemar in the fold by the regular season. Then the uncertainty should be gone. As Joe said, last
year we had both Ja'Marr and Tee both holding out, we had uncertainty then. But yeah, I like what I hear from Joe about Fairchild myself and
I do think he will instantly be an upgrade at LG for us.

It is nothing more than a gut feeling, but I also beleive both will be signed soon. If the Bengals did indeed make another offer after Pratt was cut, I would hope the Trey camp would see that as a very good thing and maybe soften their stance on sitting out as a viable option for Trey.
If he sits out, neither side wins. We can argue all day and place blame, but if he is not on the field week 1, both sides failed and lost.

I feel the same way. At least the FO is communicating now and making an effort to sign Trey. As long as Trey is playing week 1 it is all good IMO.

Good news, I figured it wasn't that bad or we would of brought in Risner who shouldn't be spendy. But that would probably be after Trey is extended
and cuts anyways. Just happy we don't have to force anything so we can get the Trey and Shemar deals done.

Outstanding execution on both ends of that play.

An absolutely phenomenal play on both ends and you (incorrectly at that) shit on the team.
A lot of really miserable people...

It is the offseason and very normal. You have those who feel the FO regardless of who they drafted or picked up in FA. The same group dismissed the fact the Bengals did not have to, but chose to spend a ton of money knowing it would not make the naysayers happy. Then, you have the group who need to harp on things that have beat to death at this point even though most of the board agree. The our OL sucks crowd because they did not sign their favorite OG.
Then you have the Bengals and FO suck because of what was done by other FO's during the Paul Brown days.
People have a choice, they can wake up and say I hope to have a great day or wake up and say I hope to make sure everyone else has a bad day. Glass half full or half empty. Some like you are are half full, still offer valid criticism, but do it professionally. Others, well they choose a diffferent path. It is their right, just not the kind of folks I would like to spend time with to have a great day.

Pretty sick throw into triple coverage!
Loving that Fairchild looks good and, if Al can make our defense even average, we're in for a big year!

So now for the next 6 weeks we will hear nothing but crickets other than the endless speculation on Hendrickson, Stewart, and the stadium

I was thinking the same thing. I do think teams (maybe not us) have more info after these camps and may look to sign vets to shore up weaknesses before July TC begins.
In our case, the FO has 6 weeks to sign Stewart and Trey. Stewart can't do anything now so no more damage to his devleopment until camp.
It was interesting reading Golden's take on our DL. He sure praised Slayton, Jenkins, Cam Sample, Ossai and Johnson. Maybe it was by design to send a message to Trey and Shemur you need us more than we need you, maybe just coach speak or maybe he believes all of these guys can help us be a lot better defense in 2025.
