The disappointing thing here is that this should be the low hanging fruit.

Enabling your players at eat heathily and at the right time seems like a win for the team. Making sure your players are focused on the game and not what some drunk Steeler fan is doing around their young kids or DeShaun Watson around their wife seems obvious.

Fixing the locker room was a much harder thing to organize.

All in all it smacks of the Bengals again lacking the bandwidth to tackle multiple issues simultaneously.

I agree with you about it being a low hanging fruit issue to address. I'm also not going to cry if billionaires have to spend money on industry standard perks for their millionaires professionals.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and cry because multi-millionaire athletes aren't getting certain amenities. However, it's a fair critique to provide to your billionaire owner. If they aren't getting the same amenities that other franchises provide, I think it's fair to bring it up. Especially when prompted.

It's low hanging fruit. Also, in the grand scheme of things, not all that important. Both are true.

Certainly does, sounds like a stealers fan though and it is espn....

Now we are going to be on the bottom of the AFC according to this *****. Sorry, I know we are hating on the Bengals FO but this is a little over the top.

Yeah, that person doesn't sound like someone with an ax to grind against Cincy. Probably a Stoolers fan.

Oh please, how about maybe one day we go back to the idea of self-sufficiency. If a player is worried about some drunk being around their family, there's not a player on the roster who could not easily afford one more ticket and an off-duty LEO or a friend to accompany their family as security. Heck, there's probably a lot that would do it free just to go to the game. And there's security all around that stadium if someone acts up. Made up issue.

Nothing incorrect about my conveyances...you hsvd this raging hatred for the brown family that does not allow you to see the many good things that they have done for numerous players coaches and staff members...and players family members

Sure sounded like one. Sounded like hoping we fail. Has to be a fan of one of the teams in our Division, but most likely the stealers with the lack of class.

And we all know how many stealer fans are on espn. It is a disease. Mellow

Yeah, because no one would ever completely voice their honest opinion under the condition of anonymity.. Rolleyes

I don't "hate" anyone, especially people I've never even met before. However I do take issue with the way they manage the franchise and manage the financial dealings.

If someone wants to hide behind anonymity and doesn't have the sac to put his name on his statement, I have no use for their statement and give it no credence.

The franchise is pretty damn successful now..perhaps you should take umbridge against sportswriters that create works of fiction every chance they get..the bengals have paid good players well..we are middle of the road when it comes to ticket and food prices and should this team stay healthy..I think we are going to have a good year.. and with Burrow and company..many more after that...I dont know what more you can ask for...only thing I want is larger scoreboards

Not a made up issue. I mention it as I remembered seeing a player talk about it in an postgame interview where there had been some scuffle/incident in the crowd - it stood out to me as this wasn’t something that had occurred to me before (on the account of me not being a pro athlete with young family in the stands). This player wasn’t complaining but was just saying they were checking their family was ok.

I did though get a laugh out of your suggestion that in order to be more self-sufficient they should hire someone to do it for them.

I'm sure it happens, just as I am sure the player can provide for his own family. And yes, hiring your own employee and not expecting your company to take care of something for you is being self-sufficient. You want to eat better food, buy something. You want better security for your family, hire it. I do not understand the perceived need to provide these athletes with every single thing for free.
