That said, human concern for an injury aside I am also concerned about the sudden trend in just ending games. I can't think of a game ever ending early prior to the Bills game. Ryan Shazier got paralyzed on the field and they still finished. Joe Theismann's career ended on the field horribly and they still finished. Johnny Knox got broken in half and has his career end and they still finished. I feel like it's a VERY recent change that they no longer finish games when a serious injury happens.
The Lions in particular have massively raised their ticket prices twice in the last two years by an average of 30% last year and another 24% this year. If you buy a season ticket, you have to pay hundreds of dollars for shitty preseason games. Are they refunding their attendance?
Not to mention Krumries horrific leg injury and the leg injury to that QB (Was it Theisman?) who's name escapes me momentarily. That said, the coaches decided not to play out the game because there were only a few minutes left (6 I think) and it was a Pre-Season game.
