He's a guy heading into his age 32 season who signed for 1yr/$2.1m which makes him the 57th highest paid G in the NFL in 2025. If he were as great as just the sack numbers suggest, he would have signed for both more years and money. This is a league that is desperate for linemen, one where Alex Cappa was terrible and still got 2yr/$11m.
To me he's basically another John Jerry... or maybe an older XSF.
He's another half-measure. Another body in position group filled with players who are just dudes. People can lie, but any above average performance by a guard currently on the roster will be something of a surprise. A welcome one, but still a surprise.
