The defense can’t do basic stuff, plug a whole on the offensive line, cover wide open receivers, pressure the QB, stop the run. I don’t think D schemes have anything to do with coverage, tackling, basic stuff. These guys have been playing football their whole lives, but somehow, when they get here, they go brain dead and can’t function.

If Al Golden is holding anything back, he better show it next week. If we go into Cleveland without the defense ready, it could get ugly.

We can not afford to start out with a loss again.

But they're playing starters this preseason.... defense definitely looked soft, but it was extremely vanilla too.

I've played with standard grips for 40 years, but after trying the Jumbomax small I just feel like I have more control of the club. Everyone just has to find what works for them. My Father always played Callaways, while I prefer Taylor Made.

Sometimes, it's not so much miss as it is progression or even pressure.

Cleveland? That's opening day, this team has so much work and growth to get through before facing a real season game. Let's just focus on having an OL that doesn't whiff blocks and get flagged for stupid penalties, and a DL that smothers the run and pushes the pocket. Cleveland? This team couldn't beat Cleveland today, hell they'd likely have to go to OT just to get by William and Mary...
