"This Guy Is Violent"- Micah Parsons On Stewart!
#1
Micah Parsons was asked about us drafting Shemar Stewart in the first round and mentions how he's violent and may not finish, but he plays 110 miles per hour and is get-off is amazing. He says that he plays so fast and the lack of college stats doesn't bother him because he only had 6.5 sacks in college.

Parsons also says that he can move inside at some point in his career.

Parsons does mention how he doesn't always finish, but that's what I've been saying about that doesn't bother me and his highlights only confirm that because, if you watch, the quarterbacks either had to release the ball quickly (which can lead to interceptions) or got flushed from he pocket.

He's still maturing (I think he's only 21) so his game will only evolve and give us a hell of a pick.

Here are some of his highlights where you can see the quarterback scrambling or getting rid of the ball quickly, which is just as good as a sack a lot of the time.

It should also be noted that Parson's, one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, is speaking so highly of Stewart!

ThumbsUp

Fans like to speculate and play what if so nowmy turn. What if he was the top choice on the Steeler's and the Raven's board and they adjusted as a result?

I saw him double teamed a lot. Also, he played DT and all along DL. He also lined out on the edge and wider on the edge (like Eagles love to do). I saw a ton of quickness and speed. I do think he needs to do a much better job of squaring and wrapping up.

Overall, I am glad he is not in a Raven, Browns or Steeler uniform.

He is as talented as anyone so the coaches need to just help him with some of the basics. I do love that he fires out fast and plays hard.
Looks like that quickness off the line should be able to draw a lot of holding penalties on tackles trying to grab him as he goes by.

I saw a guy that has a lot of work to do. He is quick off the ball, but after that he is lost.

Words.

None of it matters until he gets on the field and starts actually producing.

I agree

Same as our words, they are useless.

Well...SS is a football player that hasn't played a down in the NFL but we keep reading about how great he's going to be from different people. This message board has people that post regularly, so you can judge how good or bad they are at expressing themselves in different ways, so that's not an apt comparison.

You are 100% right though. Being able to see posters 'production' has shown that there are some whose ideas and views are "useless".
