The braintrust can’t be expected to do much. In any other business they would have been forced to sell or went bankrupt decades ago. Sadly, Mike and the family lucked into the one business they couldn’t possibly destroy no matter how hard they tried. For a team that uses a build through the draft philosophy, having the league’s smallest scouting department is embarrassing. High school programs in Texas have more scouts than the Bengals.
