Jessie Bates who Mike Brown didn't want to pay or trade... but then he let him walk and got nothing back because he's a stubborn old turd who hates success if it doesn't happen his way... and then he was made the 4th highest paid with the 2nd highest guaranteed at signing amount safety in NFL history at the time.
Just because Mike Brown doesn't want to pay you and doesn't want to trade you doesn't make you not valued. Again, that's an absolutely terrible take.
