Chris Jones zipped right past the entire IDL market. Last year there were 3 guys in the $24-24.5m/yr range and then Chris Jones came in at $31.75m/yr. Even now in 2025 the 2nd highest paid IDL is at $26m/yr with Chris Jones still way ahead of him.
It shouldn't be equally as hard to get a deal done with a guy who is only asking for market value as it was for a guy who wanted 30% above market value.
Im talking about how their holdouts are going to go/end.
Im not talking about specifics or the money involved. I am just talking about the process.
