The Bengals would not be heading into cap hell by guaranteeing Trey’s salary for 2 years. They don’t have any break the bank players coming up a contract year next season. The contract can be structured to minimize impact in the cap. It’s simply breaking their own no guaranteed salaries past year 1 paradigm.
