Agree on Ford and Patrick. They are versatile pieces that can cover tons of spots (RT, LT, RG, LG for Ford; LG, C, RG for Patrick). But they are OL8/9/10 guys. Not starters, or even a primary backups. Very mediocre.
Patrick is struggling more than I expected at RG. He has been LG and C for the last 4-5 years. Maybe he just is having real trouble on the other side, or is dinged?
Slaton is a 2 down NT. He isn't here to rush the passer.
Burks started in Philly's SB run and was the highest graded (PFF) LB in the entire post-season last year. He should be the starter, and we'd likely improve if he was.
As for the OL.
OBJ was playing on one leg last year, his grades should improve if healthy.
Karras is better than solid in pass pro. 7th out of 64 graded Cs. 48th in run block. Both he and OBJ are much beter in pass pro.
As is Risner. 13th/136 in pas pro. 96th/136 run block.
Mims was more balanced in terms of pass/run grades, but still better in pass. He was playing one handed at the end last year. He should improve year 2, but looks to have another hand issue.
