The teams that would trade for Trey for what the Bengals want have to have the cap room for a new deal, currently be in a playoff/SB hunt window to sacrifice a 1st rounder, and need an edge rusher. Is that pretty much correct? Because I can't imagine there are more than a handful of these teams out there to meet what Bengals want.
The worse this gets and if a new deal doesn't get done, I don't see how the Bengals will come out of it looking it good. Way more important than the optics though, Golden better be the next Belichick or this season will most likely be a wash. Get the deal done.
