Or the Bengals are talking to other teams about trading him and it leaked out that way. It didn't have to come from Trey's side or the Bengals side.

Rumors leak all the time. Some true. Some not.

But, in this case, IF they can't sign him, why wouldn't they look to trade him for actual players? They might see that they have issues at Guard and Safety.
