This ownership/front office has earned its reputation across the league and with the players. Clown show operation; has been for over 30 years. The players win despite the Brown/Blackburn Family. The deck is always stacked against the players.
The bengals have made the playoffs 9 times over the last 20 years, tied for 9th best in the NFL. Thats pretty consistent.
Teams with more appearances:
Patriots - Brady (HOF)
Packers - Rodgers (HOF)
Seahawks - Russ (I think he is, recency bias will hurt him)
Ravens - Flacco/Lamar
Steelers - Ben (HOF)
Chiefs - mostly mahomes (HOF), Alex smith
Eagles - team
Colts - manning (HOF)
Considering Andy dalton was the qb for a decade over that time frame, it’s pretty impressive if you ask me.
Consistent Super Bowl threat, no. But I believe there are only 5 active QBs that have won a SB: Mahomes, Rodgers, stafford, Russ, hurts.
Outside of Brady/mahomes, what team is a “consistent” SB threat?
