As for Trey, the APY stuff, reportedly, is not the issue, only the guarantees. So this year's cap should be known for him. 

Now, if we are still thinking of making a FA move (Risner, Simmons, Scherff, etc.) then there could be cap impact. 

It may be clear, even crystal clear.  However money may not actually free up until after preseason cuts.  Bengals have resigned veterans before after preseason holdouts and before season starts. So in past, players cut after preseason was enough to impact extra cap money to get in key players.  I'm hoping that happens with Hendrickson, because the pass rush is non existent without him. Again, the rookie needed in and Coached Up in preseason. not so much with veteran Hendrickson.
