Good post. Agree with everything except: 

1) The assessment of the FA guard class. There was plenty of quality there. High priced like Smith & Fries (5/$87). Mid priced like Daniels (3/$24) & Becton (2/$20) and Zeitler (1/$9). Or even cheap ones like Jenkins (1/$3) and Hernandez. 

2) I don't think any FA OL help is coming. It should be, but it isn't. Risner & Scherff is about all that would be an upgrade over Patrick, and that is only in pass pro. If you want to upgrade Ford/Rivers, there are probably more options.
