As for OL I agree, it appeared Volson played well and has experience. Ford is not a stud, but a capable back up ST. I think Rivers needs a year or 2, but can develop into a starting guard.
I also agree I would love to see us sign a better RG and have Patrick be a backup. My concern on the OL is our ability to run block. It does not seem like we have a great run blocking backup guard, tackle or center. But, I did not watch the centers the other night other than Karras who I thought played well, maybe someone can chime in with more OL experience on how the backups to Karras did against the run and pass.
We needed better depth at S and improved starters. We did neither. PJ Jules is not gonna fix things. Anderson & Anthony have been here for a year or more, ZT should know them by now.
