He should play this year for the 28 million and worry about getting his 35 or 40 million next year when he's a free agent, IMO. But he knows he is getting old.
I'm glad that the Bengals and Hamilton County agreed to extend the stadium lease. I hope that they come to some sort of contract resolution with Trey Hendrickson before the season begins, something like 30M for 2 years. I also hope the Bengals just remove that contract clause within Shemar Stewarts proposed contract so that he can get to training camp and get his practice reps in, although I have a feeling, he's going to end up being a disappointment as a player this year at least. I would have chosen someone else like James Pearce from Tennessee who was drafted 26th by the Falcons. We will see!
