If you're underpaid it's one thing. If you're adequately compensated, it's another. 

Trey is under contract this year and underpaid because of a 1 year extension he chose to sign.  I am not sympathetic at all to a guy that's saying he's underpaid on his third NFL contract, second since becoming an UFA. If he wanted more money, he should have negotiated for more in his extension.  

I'm usually more sympathetic to guys that come in on slotted rookie contracts that never really got a chance to negotiate.  Or players being strong armed because of the grossly unfair FT.  

Trey is underpaid, because frankly, he and his agent are bad at business and negotiations.
