Top 5 pick Ja'Marr Chase couldn't get what he wanted, two years ago, neither did Tee or Trey. Chase became a triple crown to get his contract. Tee had Chase and Burrow beating the table for him after he was franchise tag. Trey played after his trade request, led the league in sacks, and is still not getting what he wants, fair or not. Us fans can take whatever sides we want, but players will likely believe their fellow players side of things. As a player, I would think that even if I do well, I may not get contract love from the Bengals. In the end, do they think the language is a deal breaker for them? If so, maybe you should have been more selective with your draft pick.
