True, but...
1) The Saints & Packers had much better running games and other teams could pin their ears back less. Guys will always rate out lower here because our O is one dimensional and predictable.
2) He gets injured a lot
3) Penalties are a problem.

If he can stay healthy, it is an upgrade, though. He'd be out best run blocking IOL. Better than Risner & Scherff as a run blocker, but not in pass pro.
I know zeeo about scheme fit. So maybe that DQ's some guys.
But a starter quality guy at a position of need, who would be an upgrade over what we have, for $4-$7 mil, seems like a worthwhile investment to me. And likely short term to boot.
If someone has a better option at a different spot (S?), I'd love to hear it.
