One more thing that should be obvious to everyone is that player to player, each guy handles their wants and needs differently. Mahomes (that's how his name is spelled) should be applauded for how he agrees to his terms.
Trey is being a bit unrealistic on years, but the Bengals don't seem to be willing to negotiate. They seem to have their number and they're sticking to it. Same as they did with Whit.
