I didn't disagree with most of what he said. But this point I don't really agree with. We just don't know all the details. Was Trey asking for a new contract and the Bengals said "here's a 1 year and we'll take care of you if continue to play well". Did his agent say let's not do this deal it may not work out well and Trey said I trust them let's do it?. Just unknowns. Look at Tee. Everyone was glad he got rid of his agent and got Chase's agent. The deal gets done and it's clear the agent made some exceptions for the Bengals. So obviously Tee wanted it to get done and the agent let it.
Just seems to be two sides where we blame the agent either way. Either they hold the Bengals to a contract that every other team does and they are too hard to work with. Or they give the player what they want and they take a "bad deal".
