Both Ross and Burton had red flags (different reasons), both basically nothing for their rookie years.
Who ends up having more yards in their first four years as a Bengal - Ross or Burton?
Ross (4 seasons) - 963 yards, 11 TDs
Burton (1 season) - 104 yards, 0 TDs
Yeah, so you have the off-field maturity thing. But, he appeared pretty lost on the field.
I don't know if he didn't learn the playbook or what, but he didn't seem to have that 'it' factor year 1.
