That is around $40 mil in extra cap space would could have opened up. $28 of which is still on the table. 

But with keeping Ossai & Sample and drafting a DE high, I don't think an outside DE was a good allocation of resources. 

Which is probably why the Bengals offer was 28 million. He declined.
