Your post was a little confusing because it fit my previous post better than the one you responded to where i simply said they probably offered him less than he believed he was worth, what the current market is and guessed what they may have actually offered.
What I took from Trey's comments was that he wants a long term deal, and evidently the team must be offering a shorter term deal.
