He needs to have a banner year for anyone to offer him close to 30 million guaranteed in 2026 in my opinion.

I want him signed, he is not Garrett or Watt. Garrett is also 2 years younger, same age Trey was when he signed the existing contract he is working off of now.

Nah, he had back-to-back 17.5 sack seasons and 70.5 sacks over the last 5 years. Other teams in the NFL would still pay him handsomely because they know what it's like to try to deal with the Bengals FO. Sacks are too valuable and there's not enough guys that can get them in quantity. He'd still get a big payday.

If he has a "banner" year the Bengals would just franchise tag him and he'd be stuck in the same situation.
