I have yet to be impressed with anything TySteve brings to the team, dating all the way back to his rookie year. His defense is poor, his pitch framing is poor, and his batting has never been good enough to mask his defensive deficiencies. I see now why they resigned Trevino for three years. Here’s to hoping Duno doesn’t peak in AA and continues to improve because we have NO catchers in our pipeline besides him.
