You can just leave it at "that's hard to believe". 

The Bengals intentionally gave Tee and Chase decent base salaries in 2025 to up their year 1 cap hits rather than try to do any gymnastics to increase cap space now, they also haven't cut Pratt or Volson yet. They haven't used any of the many non-paycut methods they have available to them to create cap space. So it's absolutely unlikely that Stone just purely out of the good of his heart agreed to take a 25% paycut so that Hendrickson, who was already making 3x of Stone's original salary, could get even more money. That $1.5m will certainly make all the difference while passrushers are getting $33-40m/yr.
