With Burrow, Chase and Higgins locked in, let's get back to The Super Bowl.
So we agree Ochocinco that we hope the Defense gets better. You take Burrow, Chase and Higgins and build a good Defense here, and going back to the Super Bowl is very possible, only this time, the Bengals finally win a Super Bowl.
The 4 LBs will almost certainly mean a 3 DT front with 4 DBs. He is trading a DL for a LB. But it certainly won't be 5 DBs with 4 LBs. Nor 5 DBs With 3 LBS.
if we are legit gonna play 4 LBs, and Golden is not counting a DE amongst them (Ossai, Trey), then keeping Pratt is a real option. And we probably keep 6 LBs. 5 at least. Wilson, Knight, Burks, and Carrer are locks. Pratt is miles better than Heyward or Njongmeta.
If we are not gonna use his cap savings on a FA (G, S, DT, CB, WR3, 2 way TE), and it sure looks like we are not gonna, then what is the point of cutting him? Rollover for 2026?
