If playoff success didn't matter, then Lamar Jackson would be the best QB in the league because he had just 2 less passing TDs yet did it on 180 less pass attempts and 1.3 more yards per attempt, and 11.1 higher QB Rating while also having over 900 rushing yards with his history of multiple MVPs and All-Pros... but he's not the best, because playoff success does matter.
Hard truth is Burrow had multiple chances to win games in the 4th quarter that we lost, regardless of our shitty defense, and just wasn't very clutch.
Week 1: Only scored 10 points all game against a trash team, down by 6, 4th quarter, 3:04 and 3 TO left, 3-and-out.
Week 2: Up by 2, 4th quarter, less than 7 minutes left. Get the ball, punt, they get a game winning drive.
Week 5: Up by 3, 4th quarter, less then 6 minutes left. Get the ball, drive ends in INT, they get a game tying drive. Get the ball back tied with 1:35 and 3 TO, punt.
Week 11: Tied, 4th quarter, 1:26 and 2 TO left. 4 plays (31 seconds) and punt, giving them enough time to score.
He comes through on just one of those and Bengals make the playoffs rather than being 9-8 after he went 5-5 the year before.
