Center isn't our deepest position that is for sure. Ted is getting up there in age and Matt Lee needs to get in the weight room.
A guy like McLaughlin could come in and impress and get the starting spot in a year or two if Matt Lee cannot gain the strength to
handle the DT's of the AFC North.

Yeah, Center and Guards can get by with shorter arms. Technique, quick feet and strength are where it's at for inside players.
I don't know how long Fairchild's arms are, but they look shorter which pretty much keeps him at Guard unlike Rivers who looks long
so he can play Tackle.
