You cannot teach this guy's size, motor, strength, speed etc.
For example, this is not a Jackson Carman type of pick. This guy loves football and wants to be great, unlike Carman who was all talent and but
not the want. Cannot say this for Shemar Stewart, I am obviously really warming up to the pick after watching film of the guy.
It would also be interesting to find a stat for a player who didn't finish many many plays, at least in sacks, but how many he created for his other defenders. Sacks are beautiful but I guarantee you plenty on this board might like Trey to give up a few if he wreaked havoc on opposing offenses in other ways via playing the run, having the versatility to be moved around more to make offenses account for him,etc. No knock on Trey because he's a warrior and I'm certainly not comparing the two.
We like to blame OL for giving up sacks to QB's that are quite mobile but actually "run into them" more than the sack-masters actually getting them. I have a feeling Stewart is going to make offenses account for him far more than any defender we've had since Geno.
