The only times we've gone to the playoffs is when we had a good defense. Lou, if you want to consider it this way, was lucky to be one of those few DC to have one damn good defense, heck, all the way to the SB.
Keep in mind that the offense came up short in the last drive to win it, not the D's inability to stop them and losing the game.
Without a good D, we arent going anywhere far.
