I think he can contribute something as is. Ha can set the edge and disrupt, probably on day 1. The knock seems to be inconsistent use of technique. Not bad technique, mind you, just not actually applying technique. I've heard more than once that he's actually effective when he adds technique, he just rarely bothers and uses his superior size and athleticism to bully lesser athletes.
On the bright side, he seems like a worker, so maybe he has the discipline to clean this up. it's in his interests. He'll make a insane money if this happens.
