Bengals v. Hamilton County - Square Off

Like I said, all these things will be done in due course. We are having discussions, and so we’re hopeful that the county is thinking about it a lot, too, and wants to get it addressed in a way that would be beneficial to both of us.”

Is this a Cold War type of front Katie is putting up?  On one hand, tax payers have committed a lot to the Bengals.  On the other hand, I’d imagine another city (St. Louis?) would HAPPILY welcome the current iteration of the Bengals and the revenue it brings to the city.

You gotta say this about Katie, she handles everything in about the same manner.

Under President Trump, money to States is hard to come by. Trump also not a fan of The NFL.  Cleveland Browns were just told a loud NO on a new stadium.  The days may be winding down of these super rich owners getting tax payer funded stadiums while millions are suppose to lose Health Care and Schools and Homes.

I like the Bengals, but I would not be surprised to see owners try a move to St Louis or San Diego or some other city besides Cincinnati.  I would simply say Adios Mike Brown and Family and don't let the door hit you in the rear end as you leave.  Would I still root for Bengals ?  No, Never Again.  I would like to then become an Indy Fan, but I bet we get stuck with Cleveland on TV.   Indy is closer.

The Economy and The Politics are important.  The NFL and Bengals are not above everything else.  Given the choice between keeping Hospitals or keeping Bengals, I'll take Hospitals every time.  State Money is getting tight.  The Cleveland Browns were just told NO by State Politicians last week.  In fact they said they were not paying for a new stadium and especially for a losing team.  The days of kissing these rich football owners rear ends and NFL rear ends is drying up.  It is a new day.  Actually, there is nothing wrong with where Bengals and Browns play.  Funny The Packers never ask for new stadium, nor do Red Sox or Cubs.
