It would be fantastic if Marte really started coming into his own at 3B and then Stephenson could take 1B, leaving Hays/Lux for DH while the other covers one of the OF spots with Friedl and Fraley.

Yes Candelario put up a nothing burger again today, now at .118 They can't keep him in the regular lineup much longer. Steer I just can't pull the plug on yet. You gotta remember for the bulk of 2023 he was arguably our best hitter for most of the season! And 2024 wasn't awful cept for average. Just pitchers not knowing him well and rookie luck? 

CES I'm slowly losing faith in, can he turn it around? I dunno

But like you say the good news: ELLY 17 runs 5 HR's 22 RBI's but damn the 35 strike outs. He's at or very near the top of MLB. Friedl being a very good table setter. I heard them say today he had reached base safely 16 times in last couple series and we only score 1 run from it. 

Lux batting .316 with 12 RNI's kinda had some clutch hits for us. .837 OPS. Hays batting .361, Marte .310 (can he keep it up?) bone head got thrown out rounding 3rd on ground ball in infield. Wynns on fire !! batting .500 with 11 RBI's including 2 today.

There's stuff to be optimistic about, come on Mc Clain get back in the saddle.
