Negatives - Hitting killed team first couple weeks of the year, and now it's hot and cold.
At least right now, this feels like another season where the Reds hover around .500 all year and miss the postseason again by a few games.
That's the same vibe I'm getting. Perhaps a couple games over .500 and out of post-season. Like you say seems like pitching may be good. But offense just to inconsistent.
Still holding out hope though. Perhaps Marte is for real this time around? Lux and Hays seem to be adding promise. Maybe Steer can get it going? Hopefully Elly will stop striking out twice a game, so on, so on.
I'm still intrigued.
