That loss vs a terrible team in week 1 ended up costing them big time.

It would have, but that team would have gone against BUF I believe had they gotten in.
Was last year's team really good enough to not only get through BUF but also KC and BAL to get back to the Super Bowl?
I'm not confident they would have.
And to me, getting to 9-8 just missing the playoffs vs a 1st round exit is basically the same.

Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
