Edit: I will say this though. If Walter Nolan is the pick, I wouldn't complain one bit. Even though I personally have Emmanwori tabbed as the best guy to instantly improve the defense. As far as DE goes? After Abdul Carter, there are a whole bunch of similar prospects, and every one of them has some kind of warts. However, the overall class being deep like it is, someone good will fall to the 3rd round. The Bengals have enough at DE to make it this year, other positions not so much.
Sunset Bengal, when I posted a thread weeks ago asking people to suggest possible D Linemen, you in all your glory told me there was already dozens of threads on D Linemen. Would it not also be true then that there are many dozens of threads on Defensive Players. I ask because you seem to have no problem with threads posted, depending on who is posting them.
That said, this is also a good thread as far as I'm concerned. I do not know who Bengals take on Defense, but they have had one of the worst defenses in NFL the last 2 seasons. Bengals have Burrow, Chase, Higgins, and look pretty solid across the board on Offense. Bringing in Golden alone will not fix this awful Defense that gives up more points than even Burrow, Chase, Higgins can score. So by all means draft some Defensive studs early and often, because this Defense stinks. Only by improving on Defense can this team even consider Play-Offs. Without fixing the Defense, this will be a last place team. Bengals are in dire need of quality Defensive draft picks from front to back on Defense. I mentioned D Line, but someone made an excellent point about the need for a good Safety to me. Bengals need help all over the place on Defense. Bengals are good on Offense, but too weak on Defense to make play-offs. The Draft could help.
