It's nice watching a starting eight stay mostly intact. For the 2nd night in a row the only switch was Fraley for Lux, late in the game for defense. I got tired of Bell's constant need to mess with the lineup. Most of it seemed to happen because he just had to put his stamp on the game.
Random stat out of nowhere . . . listening to the Dodgers broadcast of the Cubs destroying them 16-0 . . . it was Ian Happ's 1,000th game as a Cub and he is only the third player to reach that number with the Cubs that was actually drafted by the Cubs. He joins Shawon Dunston and Mark Grace as the only players in that club.
