If that was the case, I'd hate Ohio.
What I loved about Portland (and Oregon in general) was the transportation, beauty of the city and especially surrounding areas (Mt. Hood and all the waterfalls), and the food and beer culture.
It has been nearly 10 years though since I was there, so maybe it's changed, but I wouldn't let the politics of the city/state impact my thoughts on whether they should get a professional sports team.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
