This puts a premium on kickers who can drop it inside the 10 without hitting the end zone. That will really mess with field goals IMO. I know McMaybe said he kicks a 30-yarder as hard and with the same motion that he kicks a 55-yarder. To now have to take some off of the kick to keep from having a touchback can't be an easy transition. I could almost see a team using a punter to make the kickoff so the kicker can concentrate on putting it through the uprights.
