Martinez confuses me as well.  He's a fine player and might be my favorite singing of theirs in recent years.  Even so, is he worth 20 plus mil with needs elsewhere?  

Between those 2, that's more than enough to get a power bat in the OF. 

Yep with the way it's looking right now, Reds rotation may be fine with Greene, Lodolo, Singer, Abbott, and Spiers.
Martinez's salary seems expensive for a mid-late rotation SP.

Maybe they have just way too much confidence in Hays, Steer, Friedl, Fraley, and Lux?
