I'm sick of these teams that spend less than 100 million dollars on payroll, knowing they'll be bad/coasting off of a ton of rookie contracts with no intention of ever paying their players.

The average in 2025 is 169M. At the very least, I think that should be a benchmark for a floor that rises as the revenue of the league rises.

I agree and think that it will lead to more competitive league on average and be more entertaining to see different teams having legitimate chances of success each year, similar to the NFL.
